Conditional catch up

Conditional catch up

If you’ve missed recent classes you really need to catch up on conditionals.  Make sure you are confident using zero, first, second and third so that we can go on to look at variations that will help in the Use of English paper especially.

Conditional conundrum

Sometimes we have the tendency to panic when we see a conditional sentence without the ‘if’ in the ‘if clause’.  Fair enough really seeing as though the clause is named after the little two letter word.  It’s really not something to get your knickers in a twist over though.  There are other words that we can use in varying contexts, but the tenses stay exactly the same.  Don’t think that just because ‘if’ has gone on holiday that all the rules have gone with him.
